Life is great you?

“Yo, how’s it going?”
‘Its going good, I’m aleksandra Blackwell.’ She held out a gloved hand, a small smile gracing her ruby lips, ‘How are you Mister?’
“Ah, well nice to meet ya. Henry Foss at your service.” He said taking the offered hand. “I’m… busy. But that’s a common occurrence around the Sanctuary”

“It’s past everyone’s bedtime, and I’ve been asking him that for weeks. He still hasn’t managed an answer yet. Not one that I can understand anyway.” Henry said sounding tired and somewhat annoyed. Normally it wasn’t a problem for him to stay up late working on some new gadget, or destroying the Big Guy in the latest video game. But when he had to stay up, and chase after a rambunctious small child. Well that was an entirely different matter. “Anyway, yeah filling out reports doesn’t sound fun at all. Anything I can do to help?”
Helen laughed softly, pressing a kiss to the top of her grandson’s head fondly before turning into her office. “He’ll catch up with words sooner or later. He and Addie have quite interesting conversations in their child babble, however. It’s fascinating to listen to and watch.” Her lips quirked, briefly. “And no, ‘fraid not. It’s just a matter of scanning and signing, thankfully. Won’t take too long. If you want to rest, though, you’re more than welcome to head on up.”
“Oh he won’t go to bed for another hour or so at least, so I can’t really do much in the way of going to bed. But I’ll stay out of your hair if you have work to do. That way you can get to Tesla faster.” Henry smirked, reeling his son in so he could get him under control. Once he was almost restrained again, Henry blew a raspberry on Sean’s neck causing an adorable little giggle to escape the boy’s throat.
“Oh I believe it.” Henry said, slipping his phone into the back pocket of his jeans before picking up Sean. Henry knew that he shouldn’t still be picking the child up after all, he could walk by now, but he didn’t want the kid running off again while he was talking to Magnus and getting into even more trouble. The last thing Henry needed was for Sean to have enough time to find a way to the outside of the Sanctuary. The little one certainly did like pressing buttons too, so it was only a matter of time. “There now you can get back to work. I’m assuming you were headed to your office. Want company?”
“If you want to join me, I won’t protest. I was headed there just now to finish up a last few reports before heading off to bed. Promised Nikola I wouldn’t work myself to death tonight.” She offered with a soft chuckle, before beginning to walk again in the direction of her office.
“Sounds like fun,” Henry said, making a face behind her as she walked off. He would never get used to the fact that Tesla was his… dad. Sure it was cool to have one of the world’s most brilliant scientists as his dad, but still a little weird. He caught up to Magnus again, and Sean struggled in his arms to try and get at her.
Helen tapped at her tablet a moment, attention focused there. “Not the most fun, but it needs done.” She shook her head, glancing over with a soft smile at Sean. “It’s past your bedtime, little one. How on earth are you still so squirmy?”

It’s easy to see why they’d be attached to you. It’s for much the same reason that you’re so good at running the Sanctuary. You’re nice, and funny, and lovable. But I’m sure Tesla has told you all that before, so it needn’t be said again.
You’re flattering, Henry. I appreciate it. Truly. But you’re a brilliant man, and a brilliant father, I might add, yourself. I’m very proud of you - even more so to call you my son.
Just in case I haven’t said that recently.
“Thanks” Henry said smiling slightly as he walked up to Magnus and his son. His face felt a bit hot, but he ignored that and focused his attention on his son. He bent down and tweaked his little nose. “Come to bother Grandma I see. You’re just lucky your mother isn’t here.”
Helen gave a warm smile, tucking her tablet under one arm as she looked at Henry, then down at her grandson. “I think Erica is due back from her trip tomorrow. Clearly he’s trying to get into all the trouble he can before his mummy gets back.”

Henry, your son beckons.
On my way! Man that kid moves fast…
Children most often wait until you’re not looking. He’s not a bother, but I thought you’d like to know he’d wandered off again.
Yeah, I’m learning that one the hard way. He certainly does seem to be quite attached to you.
Him and Addie both. Not the faintest idea as to why, but it’s fine. I enjoy their company - and they provide an excuse for me to put off work for a while in order to spend time with them, same as I did with you and Ash.
